The Art Room Makerspace
The Art Room Makerspace offer folks of all ages the opportunity to practice their artistic talents or discover new ones. Go to our Materials page to see some of what we have to offer. Come in for a Makerspace & see it all! The Art Room Makerspace is not just for kids, it's for everyone with a creative spirit!
April Hours: every Tuesday 3:30 - 6:30 & every Sunday 10am - 2pm
admission is $25/adult $15/adolescent/$40 family
Adult Only Event: $100. Up to 8 adults. $50 equipment fee if your guests will use with the craft machines, including the ipad, cricuts, hot presses, sewing machines & the serger. BYOD. Please keep drinks away from supplies, materials & equipment. No food allowed. Before your event, please come by The Art Room Cincinnati during a Makerspace so I can show you around, if you're using the craft machines, I can show you how to use them, I can answer any questions you have and you can sign the waiver & pay the rental fee, if you have not already paid online. Without meeting with me first, you will not be able to rent the space.
All Ages Event: $150. Up to 10 people (there must be at least 2 adults): Your party will have access to everything in the Makerspace area EXCLUDING CRAFT MACHINES along with some extra materials that are not typically out & 1 other activity/craft that is not out for public use. If you or your party guests know how to sew, I can keep the sewing machines out as your additional activity. *Children must be experienced with a sewing and monitored at all times if using a sewing machine. No food or alcoholic drinks allowed. If you bring non-alcoholic drinks, please keep them away from the supplies and materials. Before your event, please come by The Art Room during a Makerspace so I can show you around, answer any questions you have and you can sign the waiver & pay the rental fee, if you have not already paid online. Without meeting with me first, you will not be able to rent the space.
Children's Party: $150. Up to 8 children plus chaperones. Includes a DIY craft that will be set-up and ready for each child as they arrive. The children will have access to all The Art Room Makerspace materials, EXCLUDING CRAFT MACHINES. No food or drinks allowed. Before your event, please come by The Art Room during a Makerspace so I can show you around, answer any questions you have and you can sign the waiver & pay the rental fee, if you have not already paid online. Without meeting with me first, you will not be able to rent the space.

Private Events: Rentals are for 2 hours, including set-up & clean-up. Please leave the space how you found it. Email hello@theartroomcincinnati.com for more information or to reserve The Art Room Cincinnati. Prior to your event you must meet me at The Art Room Cincinnati during a Makerspace to see The Art Room, have your questions answered, sign a waiver & pay the rental fee. If you do not meet with me first, you cannot rent the space.

Host: 2 ways to use The Art Room to host
If you already teach and provide your own materials but need a space to host, the cost to rent the space is $25 (non refundable) & 25% of your sales from the event. This is a good option for teachers who are already established and have somewhat of a following. The Art Room Cincinnati will post your event on our website and FB page. Another
The Art Room is hiring folks to lead classes, workshops & events that we establish. We provide the materials & advertise the event. This is a good option for beginner teachers, crafters & hobbyists who want to share their skill but not provide all the supplies & materials or crafty folks that enjoy leading & hanging out with fellow crafters but aren't really sure what to teach or how to get started. Pay is $15/ hour and 15% of sales. If enough people don't register, the event will be cancelled.
